Meet Our Founder
Bishop Wayne Johnson
Bishop Wayne Johnson has been faithfully preaching and serving the Lord for many years and is the proud leader of Emmanuel’s Faith Center, a thriving, spirit-filled ministry. Alongside his wife, Rhonda Johnson, Bishop Wayne embraces the unique and rewarding responsibility of shepherding this congregation, pouring into the spiritual lives of those they lead. Their commitment to building a strong, faith-driven community has been a hallmark of their ministry, as they continuously work to uplift and guide their members in deepening their relationship with Christ. Bishop Wayne’s passion for ministry is matched by his dynamic and practical teaching style, which resonates with people of all walks of life. His sermons bring the timeless truths of Scripture to life, helping individuals apply these teachings to their daily challenges, while fostering personal and spiritual growth.
Beyond the walls of the church, Bishop Johnson is deeply invested in his community. As president of The Concerned Citizens of Atmore and a local businessman, he actively works to create positive change in the region. He is also the owner of the Gulf Coast Family Network, extending his passion for family values and faith through this media outlet. In addition to his ministry and business ventures, Bishop Wayne is an accomplished author, sharing his wisdom and insights through his writings. Married to his beloved wife Rhonda for over 35 years, they are blessed with two wonderful children and two cherished grandchildren. Together, they exemplify the power of faith, family, and community, leading by example as they continue their journey of serving both God and the people of Emmanuel’s Faith Center.
